Munin

Munin appears to be a good way to do what Cacti does, but at the Linux console level (with Perl scripts) rather than Cacti's SNMP-based system.

Key things to note:

• Anything that's symlinked to /etc/munin/plugins will try to show up in the graphs.
• This is a very useful command:

munin-node-configure --suggest
